Ezi-Duct installs Dust Collector Collecting Aluminium waste in new Dandenong factory

Eziduct recently completed a project to install a dust collection system for a large multinational company's new factory located in the South Eastern Melbourne suburb of Dandenong.

The new factory offers a wide range of rolled and extruded aluminium products, cut to size, supplying to the Victorian market, so they needed a powerful and efficient system that collects the dust from the production.

The dust collector installed was an MDC 12,000 P. This is a fully automatic self cleaning dust collector that uses a pulse of compressed air to automatically clean it's many filter bags. The dust collector automatically deposits the Aluminium swarf waste directly into a 3 m3 waste bin via an Eziduct rotary valve.

The dust collector works under negative pressure so no waste or dirty air passes through the units high-efficiency 15kW fan. The dust collector is constructed from robust corrosion resistant galvanize steel sheet and was manufactured in Australia in Ezi-Ducts Sydney manufacturing facility.

The dust collector was connected to the machine using Ezi-Duct modular ducting. EziDuct modular ducting provides the best airflow on any ductwork for extraction systems on the market. All the Ezi-Duct modular ducting bends are of pressed construction up to 300 mm diameter to ensure a smooth & snag free airflow. The Ezi-Duct modular ducting simply clamps together cutting installation time down by 50% and also enables the customer to easily move or modify the ductwork or pull the ductwork apart in case a rag or another article gets caught in the ductwork.

Ezi-Duct is Australia's leader in the field of dust collectors and fume extraction equipment has branches in Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane They can have a representative call at no charge to offer free advice for your dust collection & fume extraction requirements.
